Daisy, Daisy

Amongst our small collection of vacuum cleaners is this rather fine Baby ‘Daisy’ from 1905. The ‘Daisy’ Vacuum Cleaner Co. Ltd. were based in Leamington Road, Gravelly Hill, Birmingham and made cleaners in to the 1920s.

The cleaner used two people, one stood on the footplate and worked the bellows using the long handle, whilst the other did the cleaning.
