We received the fantastic news on Thursday that Rutland & Melton have secured a £23m Levelling Up Fund grant.
£2m of the investment is earmarked for Rutland’s heritage, specifically the interpretation of the remains of the ‘Rutland Sea Dragon’ (the 180 million year old Ichthyosaur), and the major Roman villa recently discovered in the County.
Details of the full Levelling Up funding have been published on the Council’s website:

We would be very grateful for members of the local community to spare a few moments to tell us how they would like to be involved in the next phase of the project: https://forms.office.com/e/ZK61fFbANF
